Welcome back to hacking!
Good morning!
Day 2 has begun, and it’s time to start hacking again! Remember that mentors will be available from 9am-9pm today via Discord. Be sure to reach out to them whenever you need help!
If your team was asked to do a second pitch (your team lead will have been DM'd), please make sure you sign up for a time (starting from 1:30pm) here: https://doodle.com/poll/8ih8mwaev6kwgchv. The link for the Zoom meeting room for second pitches is located in the “All Meeting Links” document.
Our first workshop of the day will begin at 10:30am, and will feature Kayla Lambie from Hatch Coding, a teacher and curriculum developer at Hatch Coding. This workshop’s topic will be Teaching Computational Thinking in a STEM PBL Environment, and will help provide you with a different method of critical thinking, analysis, and tackling challenges such as this one.
We have another workshop coming up today at 5pm, featuring Grace Ling, a UX Design Intern at Electronic Arts, the Founder & Design Lead of Design Buddies, and admin at intern.club. She will be giving a workshop on how to effectively create a presentation and design a video. This workshop will be very helpful for creating your final 2min video submission!
